Cecilie works with family and inheritance law in a broad sense, including estate administration, division of estates, placement cases, enforcement of access and residence decisions, wills, prenuptial agreements, family loans, etc. as well as litigation within the same areas. Cecilie also often works with the international aspects of family and inheritance law, including child abduction and international child cases, international estate administration, etc.
Cecilie graduated from the University of Southern Denmark in 2021 with the final thesis "International competence in parental responsibility cases".

Cecilie teaches as an external lecturer in family and inheritance law at the University of Southern Denmark. Cecilie is also a member of the Yngrenetværket for family and inheritance law, and she is a member of both Danske Familieadvokater and Danske Arveretsadvokater.
