Jacob Schjern Andersen is head of Kielberg Advokater's insolvency department. In collaboration with the office's other specialists, Jacob works with distressed companies and individuals in the form of crisis management, reconstructions, restructurings and actual bankruptcy proceedings. He always strives to find the best solution for both the distressed party and the creditors, and he prioritizes having a good and constructive dialogue in a respectful tone in a time of pressure.
In addition to insolvency, Jacob also deals with company law, including succession, restructuring, purchase and sale of companies, etc. as well as general commercial law issues and commercial real estate transactions.
In addition, Jacob acts as a board member in capital companies and commercial foundations.
Jacob graduated as cand.jur. in 2011.
Jacob is appointed as permanent liquidator and trustee at the Bankruptcy Court in Odense and to the Debt Agency's Lawyer Panel as trustee in the Odense judicial district. He is a Certified Insolvency Lawyer through Danske Insolvensadvokater. Jacob is active in business and sponsor networks and holds several board positions, including Odense Advokatforening, and he has been elected to the Danish Handball Federation's Handball Appeal Board. Finally, Jacob is a member of the board of Kielberg Advokater A/S where he is also a partner and director.
