Jacob Schjern Andersen works primarily in Kielberg Lawyers' insolvency department. In collaboration with the office's other specialists, Jacob works with distressed companies and individuals in the form of crisis management, reconstructions, restructurings and actual bankruptcy proceedings. He always strives to find the best solution for both the distressed party and the creditors, and he prioritizes having a good and constructive dialogue in a respectful tone in a time of pressure.
In addition to insolvency, Jacob also deals with company law, including succession, restructuring, purchase and sale of companies, etc. as well as general commercial law issues and the purchase and sale of private homes.
In addition, Jacob acts as a board member in capital companies and commercial foundations.
Jacob graduated as cand.jur. in 2011.
Jacob has been appointed to the Danish Debt Agency's Lawyer Panel as a trustee in the Odense court district. He is a Certified Insolvency Lawyer through Danske Insolvensadvokater. Jacob is active in business and sponsor networks and holds several board positions, including Odense Bar Association, Chairman of the Board of the 4th District of the Danish Bar Association, and he has been elected to the Handball Appeals Board of the Danish Handball Federation. Finally, Jacob is a member of the board of Kielberg Advokater A/S where he is also a partner and director.
