Pernille Bergholt Buhl specializes in family and inheritance law and advises on matrimonial cases, divorces, division of property, forced placements, custody cases, residence cases, and visitation cases. Pernille is often involved in complex child cases where the level of conflict between the parents can be very high. Pernille's high level of professional expertise benefits the client. She is able to respectfully meet the client in their life crisis and focus on the best solution for the client in a given situation. Pernille often participates with clients in family mediation meetings and family law investigation meetings at the Family Court, where she helps clients feel heard and listened to. She has extensive experience with these meetings and is able to constructively challenge the Family Court in its approach to the cases. Pernille often appears several times a week in the family court, where she is often appointed. Her legal skills in this area are very strong, and she always shows up well prepared so that the client always feels safe during the case. Pernille has the right to appear before the High Court, which is a great advantage for the client, as she has the opportunity to follow the case through to this instance. Through her many years of work as a family law attorney, Pernille has built up extensive experience with placement cases, where she most often represents either one or both parents, or the children who have been placed who have reached the age of 12. She participates in meetings in the Child and Youth Committee, the National Social Appeals Board and the Family Court. In these cases, Pernille, with her extensive professional knowledge of the Social Services Act, manages to help the client in the best possible way while at the same time creating a sense of security for the client throughout the process. Pernille holds a master's degree in law. She was appointed as a lawyer in 2012 and has the right to appear before the High Court.

She is appointed by the Danish Ministry of Children and Social Affairs to participate in cases concerning international child abduction.
